MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY

I believe in direct communication to rapidly develop deep, trusting, and powerful relationships.

COACHING APPROACH

My coaching style is deeply informed by my many years as a therapist and executive leader. Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), the pioneering form of cognitive behavior therapy and Existential Therapy were the primary modalities I used as a therapist and they are woven into my coaching practice. REBT is an action-oriented modality that teaches individuals to examine their own thoughts, beliefs, and actions, and replace those that are self-defeating with more life-enhancing alternatives.

I generate passion in the world through my grounded and passionate leadership.

        Beliefs:  People will achieve when they truly believe in their mission and are willing and able to question that mission every day.

        Values:  To live each day in integrity with, and as a shining example of, our core mission by being accountable and responsible for our actions.

        Motivational Energy:  To live each day to its fullest by finding meaning in all activities, be they great or small.

        Edge:  To live on the edge of our greatest fears and to welcome these fears as true and valued aspects of ourselves. Only by embracing them may we be free to learn, love, and live.
